About Dr Ramesh Chaube

It is with great honor and pleasure to introduce Dr. Ramesh Chaube. 'A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others" - Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, that is a perfect quote which portray the entire academic journey of Dr.Ramesh Chaube. Very abundant involvement in the teaching (1971 - 2005) at University of Sagar and later known as Dr. Hari Singh Gour University Sagar. Scaling professional heights as Professor and HOD of Anthropology, his experience judiciously blended with high-caliber, academic knowledge and more than 3 ½ decades of research exposure. This enabled him to handle a number of academic / administrative responsibilities efficiently. M.Sc. and Ph.D in Anthropology, Dr. Ramesh Chaube also holds LLB degree. An Author of 13 Books, more than 50 Research papers published by National / International Journals of repute. He has done path-breaking research work in the field of Dermatoglyphics in 1971, it became milestone and was internationally recognized. His research findings and conclusions are supporting as reference for advance studies. His innovative and quality research recommended his name to be included in the international early history of Dermatoglyphics and is also cited in many books and journals. He has been awarded with several National awards and has been appraised internationally. A Hindi Poet and a Short-Story Writer, he has many Radio Talks and handled ably 3 Projects (UGC, WHO, UNESCO).

I know Professor Ramesh Chaube since 1982 when I was admitted as a post-graduate student in the department of Anthropology of Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, M.P. He taught me in postgraduation classes, I learned many things from him such as academic administration, drafting of note-sheet, teaching the students due to his excellence in academic as well as academic administration. He was a brilliant teacher and also having good academic administration. I feel proud for being a student of such a great personality.
