Seminars and Conferences:

• Organized Seminars and Conferences in the department on important themes relating to various aspects of Anthropology. Four National Seminars have been successfully organized by Dr Ramesh Chaube.
• Attended a number of National and International Seminars and Conferences and also presented research papers there, on the current subjects of Anthropology and chaired the sessions number of times by Dr Ramesh Chaube

Experience in Tribal Studies:

Anthropology is basically concerned with the study of tribes. During post graduation courses the students are compulsory required to complete one month field training in tribal areas under the supervision of a departmental teacher. During a long tenure of my teaching carries. I have visited and studied number of tribes of Madhya Pradesh/Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Uttaranchal, Rajasthan and Andaman and Nicobar.

Research Projects:

1. A research project entitled "Palmar Creases in India" has been project was sponsored by U.G.C.

2. A project entitled "Crease Surface Area among Cancer Patients". The project was completed under the World Health Organization.

3. A report on Naoradehi Village (Forest village) of Sagar, M.P. has been completed under Identification and Enhancement of India's cultural Heritage, UNESCO chair in the field of cultural development.
